Have you been curious about yoga, but have never taken a class? Have you enjoyed practicing yoga in the past, but have not taken a class in awhile because you are recovering from surgery, injury, illness or other life circumstance? If so, this opportunity is for you. LindaGrace offers a three or four class series to new or returning students to evaluate current strength, flexibility, balance and familiarize you with the warm ups and basic poses before you enter the Gentle Yoga Class or the Wise Woman Yoga Class. These intro classes can be arranged directly with LindaGrace at lindagrace@wisewoman-yoga.com

Gentle Yoga Classes are offered hybrid style
In person at Senior Coastsiders, 925 Main Street, Half Moon Bay
AND
simultaneously via Zoom: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:45 to 10:15am.
Developed for senior yoga enthusiasts, this class utilizes props and yoga poses to improve balance and posture. Applying the principles of biomechanics, LindaGrace will work with you to build strength and confidence in activities of daily living.
Students should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor and will use chairs and other props to further practice. If you are new to Gentle Yoga or have specific issues you would like to discuss with LindaGrace, please email LindaGrace.
Zoom students may make donations through PayPal or contact LindaGrace. In person students may pay cash or check before class. No one is turned away due to lack of funds.

Starting Monday, October 3rd, everyone who joins the Gentle Yoga and/or Wise Woman Yoga classes via Zoom will be using a NEW sign-in process, called My Active Center.
You will need to create an account in My Active Center and register for the class. You can even register for several weeks worth of classes! Thirty minutes before class, you will receive the class link in your email.
You do need to be in the Senior Coastsiders database in order to register an account.
If you aren't sure if you're in their database, fill out their registration form by clicking this link: https://forms.gle/TxfYmZqXbYiFiPmD9. Once you fill out the form, Casey McClung from Senior Coastsiders will send you instructions for how to set up your My Active Center account.

Wise Woman Yoga Classes are offered hybrid style Tuesdays, 11 to 12:30pm
I created Wise Woman Yoga for women in peri-menopause, menopause and beyond.
This class will focus on yoga practices for bone building, the pelvic floor, stiff joints, insomnia and hot flashes. I have collected or created practices to bring strength and flexibility to the spine; to balance the endocrine system; to soothe and cool the nervous system and to focus the mind. Each class will include relaxation to promote a good night’s sleep.
Classes will follow the cycle of the moon…
New Moon… Restorative practice
Half Moon… Bone building, Pelvic floor, Cooling practice for hot flashes... requests welcome
Full Moon… Chandra Namaskara with Mantra and Lunar Pranayama
